V. Rev. Timothy Tomson

V. Rev. Timothy Tomson - Vice President/Membership Officer – in the absence of the President exercises the powers and performs the duties of the President; plans and directs programs to retain and increase membership and maintains an accurate roster of members.

Fr. Tomson is a pastor of St. Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church in McKees Rocks, PA. Under his leadership, every year St. Mary holds its biggest Ukrainian American Festival in the Pittsburgh region showcasing Ukrainian American culture. By Fr. Tomson's influence, the street in front of St. Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church was renamed Ukrainian Way, and every year during St. Mary's Ukrainian Festival, by Mayoral Proclamation, the Bottom's section of McKees Rocks is renamed "Little Kyiv."

On the national level, Fr. Tim is very active in the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) of the USA. For many years he served as an Auditor of the UOC and currently is a member of the Metropolitan Council and a member of the Consistory of the UOC of the USA. For many years, Fr. Tim was the Director of Church Camp at All Saints Camp in Emlentin, PA, was the Chaplan at the camp and for several years directed the National Altar Servers Retreat held in Lakeland, Florida. For his tireless efforts he was elevated to Archpriest and awarded Gold Cross and later on - Jeweled Cross.

Fr. Tomson enjoys traveling and meeting new people. He, his wife Svitlana and their two daughters live in Mt. Lebanon.
