Maria Spadaro
Maria Lorraine Spadaro, Member of the Board of Directors
Maria was born in Pittsburgh, PA and was baptized at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church of which she is presently a member. Maria grew up in the town of Franklin, PA with her mother, Donna, and younger brother, Tony. She attended Catholic school and was very active in her society through academic achievements and fencing.
Maria is a student at the University of Pittsburgh, and lives in Oakland. She is majoring in geology and plans to have her Bachelor’s of Science in 2012. Maria is a member of Pitt’s Geology Club and often attends hikes and geologic conferences held in the Pittsburgh area.
Maria enjoys reading novels, writing poetry, studying the planetary sciences, and being social with her friends and family.
